Background:

Dr. Hanks, a native of Xenia, Ohio, received a BS from West Virginia State College and a medical degree from Marshall University School of Medicine. She also did a transitional internship at Marshall University School of Medicine and residencies in radiology from University of Pittsburgh and Los Angeles County+University of Southern California Medical Center. She completed her fellowship in interventional radiology at Los Angeles County+University of Southern California Medical Center. Dr. Hanks, joined the USC Department of Radiology in 1992, where she completed her interventional radiology fellowship. Her administrative appointment as chief of radiology was received in July 1992. She holds the academic title of associate professor of clinical radiology. Dr. Hanks is board certified in radiology and interventional radiology and is active in local, national and international radiology societies.
