The Department of Neurology provides comprehensive outpatient and inpatient services for the full spectrum of neurologic conditions. In addition to providing skilled patient care, the department’s physicians also conduct medical research and mentor future generations of medical professionals as faculty at the Keck School of Medicine of USC.

We have a strong reputation in clinical neurophysiology and conduct active research programs in epilepsy, neuromuscular disease, movement disorders, intraoperative monitoring, coma, multiple sclerosis and stroke.
Our telemetry unit at USC University Hospital is part of a comprehensive program that evaluates candidates for surgery for intractable epilepsy, electrophysiology, neuropsychology, language localization and therapeutic protocols with anti-epileptic drugs.
