Family Medicine - Program Director and Associate Director

We are searching for a new program director and associate director (new position) to lead the USC/California Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program. As the result of new direction and stable funding from the hospital, we are expanding resident complement to 8-8-8.

These positions will practice and teach the full-spectrum of family medicine in the heart of Los Angeles, a vibrant, multi-ethnic, underserved community. Join a dedicated family medicine medical school faculty. The program has a strong maternity focus with C-section privileges available for candidates with training and experience, a busy family medicine inpatient service providing hospitalist services for community clinic partners, an expanding geriatric component (with development of geriatric home visit model), and a planned clinic conversion to FQHC lookalike.

Program Director – We seek an individual with 3-5 years of residency administrative experience or NIPDD fellowship training, understanding of GME finances, strong organizational, communication, and team-building skills.

Associate Program Director – We seek an individual with 2 years of residency experience, strong organization, communication and team building skills.

For both positions, academic rank is commensurate with qualifications and experience.  We offer competitive salaries with full university benefits, including immediate vesting in the retirement plan and tuition remission for dependents.
