Pediatrics - Violence Intervention Program

The Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California, Department of Pediatrics/LAC is seeking a full-time pediatrician in the division of Violence Intervention Program (VIP is a non-profit, hospital-based program at LAC+USC Medical Center in East Los Angeles, CA) to provide direct patient care, resident teaching and clinical research in our new hospital and outpatient setting. As the First Family Advocacy Center in the United States, the VIP offers medical, mental health, forensic, legal and supportive services to victims of child abuse, domestic sexual assault, elder abuse and dependant adult abuse as well as children in foster care. The VIP children and adults who have been hurt by violence heal and rebuild their lives.

Candidates must be eligible for licensure in the state of California. Experience with an underserved population is preferred.
